Keeping in Touch (KIT) - our Phab magazine.

Phab produces a magazine called ‘Keeping In Touch’ (KIT) which is full of reports from individual Phab clubs throughout the UK, along with information from Phab Head Office.

Phab Integrated Living Experiences (ILX's)
For many years Phab has provided and run professional and caring projects catering for disabled and non-disabled children to spend a week together at an accessible centre, and to be involved in a wide range of activities.

Lifetime Acheivement Award
A special award was presented by Phab Patron Lord Snowdon GVCO to a couple who had shown a lifetime of devotion to Phab, this was awarded to Bill & Jean Thompson from Halton Phab

Lifetime Awards
Many people have played such an important part in the development and success of Phab, from its early beginnings up until the present day
The following 20 people were presented with a Lifetime Award in recognition of their work and devotion to Phab : -
Paul Hope Award - 2007
A special award is given each year, in memory of the late Paul Hope. This is for outstanding work and achievement in fulfilling Phab’s aim of promoting and encouraging people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms to achieve complete integration within the wider community and to make more of life together.

This years winner is Lorna Stephens. Lorna has been a member and then leader of Hounslow Phab for 40 years, running the club at a local level for 30+ years.

During this time clocking up 30 years with Hounslow Youth Service and is currently their Special Needs Development Officer.
Louis Goldberg Award - 2007
This is awarded in memory of the late Louis Goldberg, a devoted supporter of Phab, and is presented annually to someone aged 25 or under who is deemed to have excelled in fulfilling Phab's aim of "promoting and encouraging people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms and achieve complete inclusion within the wider community and to make more of life together".

Four young people were nominated for the award this year. We would like to acknowledge their achievements.
This year's winner of the Louis Goldberg Award for Young people is Gemma Davies of Chippenham 16-30 Phab Club.
